The association
With Women – Let’s change the world with women is a non-profit association, created in June 2009. The association is supported by an honourary committee, a board of directors and has a projects selection committee.
Our mission
With Women’s goal is to value and strengthen women as central players in the transformation of our society, in order to build a fairer, more sustainable, and solidarity-based world.
What we do
The With Women Association places women at the center of the most important issues of the planet’s future. To take up this challenge, we carry out three types of complementary actions:
Create a public opinion movement
With Women informs and raises awareness through mobilization campaigns destined to highlight women as catalysts in transformation of our societiy for a more sustainable future.
With Women gathers different societal actors: businesses, media, personalities, organizations, citizens… in order to create the conditions of a collective awareness and generate a strong mobilization. Our ambition : give everyone the means to act at their own level.
Mobilize the Authorities
With Women leads lobbying authorities. The founding act of the With Women campaign, « The Appeal to Change the World with Women » calls to european governments and the EC to implement an action plan in favour of women.
Support Women’s Projects
With Women finances projects working to make our way of life more sustainable.
These projects put women at the center of action and allow them to act efficiently in 5 priority areas:
- Reduce poverty, exclusion and inequalities,
- Develop access to health care and services,
- Develop education and professional training,
- Fight against violence – Build Peace
- Protect the environment through sustainable natural resources management.
When ?
Projects finance will begin in 2011.
